ISLIP TOWN—Supervisor Angie M. Carpenter and fellow Town Board member John Cochrane Jr. were recently joined by representatives of the Bay Shore High School Athletics
Department, Bay Shore students, the nonprofit organization Challenger Athletics, Inc., and Islip-based company Anti3 Protect Series, to announce the official launch of the first
annual Cleats for Feets Donation Drive. This campaign will enable residents to drop off used athletic cleats at donation sites. Those sites are: Councilman Cochrane’s office at Islip
Town Hall, 655 Main Street; the main lobby of the Town Hall Annex, 401 Main Street; and at Bay Shore High School and also the middle school.
All donated cleats will first be cleaned and disinfected before being donated to any child in need in Bay Shore schools.
